Hello Harmony Families! I hope this message finds you and your family well. There are just a few PTA updates I wanted to pass along today as we wrap up this school year. Together we have done many amazing things including purchase more books for our guided reading library, plan for a sensory path to be installed once we get the all clear to be back at school, purchase books to support classroom libraries and so much more. It’s truly amazing the things we can do when we work together!
Supply Kits for next year are on sale now until July 1!
1st Day School Supplies makes shopping for school supplies an easy task right from home. As your PTA, we bring you this as an optional service, not a fundraiser. So that means the pricing is very similar to what you would find at local stores. Ordered kits will be waiting for your child in their new classroom on open house night.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 Executive Board! Our nomination committee worked hard during the winter months reaching out to Harmony parents to fill next year’s executive board. We have one volunteer step up for each open required position. And by unanimous vote at a recent executive board meeting, the 2020-2021 executive board was approved. The transition of all roles takes affect July 1. The role of PTA President will be held by Kristin Rutledge, Treasurer will be held by Amy Keller and Secretary will be held by Brittany McKenna. There are 4 more positions that complete the executive board. And we have 3 of those filled at this time, Financial Secretary is Marianne Bezuidenhout, VP Membership is Ashley Smith and VP Husky Hustle will be Co-Chaired by Amanda Besore and Julie Bucalos. VP Programs is currently still open. In addition to our executive board there are many chairperson roles that make up our PTA. Thank you to everyone for your help during our virtual appreciation week! Rainbows Over Harmony was a success and we hope the messages will continue for many more days to come. Be the rainbow in someone else’s cloud each day!
Upcoming PTA Meeting
We are planning to hold our final PTA meeting virtually at 9pm on Tuesday, May 12th on our Facebook page This will be mostly an informative meeting, but I will be watching the comments for any questions, and do my best to answer them. If I don’t get to your question on the live meeting, I’ll review them all afterwards and get back with you. You may also submit questions to me before the meeting via email and I can address them on the live feed. The agenda and budget will be posted to our website soon for you to review and follow along. Hope you can join in!

In closing, it is bittersweet for me to share with you this final update as your PTA President. It has been a true privilege and honor to serve alongside so many incredible people. By working with each of you, I have learned so much and have developed a great appreciation for all we’ve accomplished through our volunteer work. Thank you to everyone for your support this year! It’s been an honor being a part of such a wonderful community.
