We Want to Hear From YOU
A message from the PTA President
Jessy Maggard
Spring is in the air and good vibes are all around. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who had a part in this years’ success. From the late nights to the early mornings, working through the details to make every event, fundraiser, and celebration truly great. It’s all thanks to each of you in our amazing Harmony family!
Together we really can make a big difference!
Planning for 2018-2019 is underway and your input is extremely valuable. While I’ll be returning next year as your PTA president, there are a few open spots on our board to fill. We are nothing without our wonderful volunteers, and we need you! Contact me to learn more about how you can help at pta.president.hes@gmail.com or to provide feedback and suggestions.
A Night of Memories to Treasure
Whether this was your daughter’s first or last Father Daughter Dance at Harmony, she surely had the time of her life! Some sweet memories were made at the Father Daughter Dance on Friday, February 9. Many thanks to Jenn Anderson and her committee for organizing a wonderful evening for our Harmony little ladies. “Words cannot express how extremely grateful I feel to live in a community with such amazing families, school staff, businesses and volunteers who made this sweet night fall into place more beautifully than I could have dreamed! Every person that was there went above and beyond to make this memory the girls will hold in their hearts and minds forever. We are abundantly blessed!” stated Father Daughter Dance Chairperson, Jenn Anderson.
After a delicious dinner from Olive Garden, dancing began with tunes from Hey Mr. DJ and lasted all night. The silly photo booth was a hit with everyone as they captured memories from the night. Don’t forget to order your Inter-State Studio professional photos online at lookatmyphotos.shootproof.com A special thank you to McAlister’s Deli for donating drinks for this event, to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped serve food, cleaned up and kept things running smoothly, and Floss 32 for being an event sponsor. Be sure to share your awesome event photos with us on Instagram @kyharmonypta #heshuskies2017 Can’t wait to do it again!

Dine to Donate Fundraiser at BLAZE
Okay Husky families – get your calendars out and mark Tuesday, December 19 from 5-8pm with a big gold star! Next, make plans with some other Husky BFF’s to meet up at Blaze while we’re on break and let someone else make dinner! It may be a bit of a crazy week trying to finish up holiday prep, but you’ve still gotta eat!
A portion of the night’s proceeds benefit our PTA. You must show this flyer Harmony Elementary PTA -12-19-2017 either on your phone or a print out for Harmony to benefit from your purchase. Be on the lookout for more restaurants we will be dining with this year!
Do you want to dance?
Well, dancing is not required to be a helper but you can strut your stuff if you’d like! We are looking for committee helpers for Harmony’s annual Father/Daughter Dance coming up February 9, 2018. If you would like to help out please contact us.
A Legacy In the Making

We are excited to announce that your Legacy Bricks have been installed! Many thanks to our Beautification Chairperson Kendra Wiegand who organized this one-of-a kind fundraiser and saw it through to the end. The brick path was installed by Weferling Enterprises LLC over Thanksgiving break. Next time you visit school, stop by and check it out!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Our annual Donuts with Santa was snow much fun! As the snow flurries began to fall, there was a lot happening inside the warmth of Harmony. A big thank you to Lauren Rhoten for putting together such a special event. It was wonderful to have the chance take photos and talk with Mrs. Claus! We hope you and your family had a memorable morning. Be sure to share your awesome event photos with us on Instagram @kyharmonypta #heshuskies2017
Harmony Gives Back

A special thank you to our P.E. teacher Mr. Bryan Gitlewski for organizing the donation of bikes to Q103.1 “Bikes or Bust”, benefiting Toys for Tots and The Salvation Army. Together the amazing Harmony Staff and our PTA we are able to make Christmas a little bright for 9 kids this year.
