- Approval of minutes from February 11, 2020 meeting – approved and 2nd
A Message from our Principal, Sue Hackmiller
- Classroom Library is trying to build for each grade. This takes a lot of time and $$. This is a need but a $$ amount is hard to determine. 27 classroom. Suzie will come of with spend levels based on a need state across all classroom/teacher needs.
- Chromebooks -Carts being purchased $2400 each. KETS $$ possibly funding. Potential to acquire NOMS used books
- Diligent on cleaning school and all surfaces. In a good place right now. Per Superintendent. Floating into the Yellow zone. Anu updates will be provided regularly. Staff doubling up on hand washing and sanitization.
- Staffing – Mary Harrif requesting to return from maternity leave. No current staff leaving. Interest from candidate for EL position. Permanent sub in 2nd grade to become staff. Vacant LBT position. Guest teacher through the duration of the school year. Hire Spring/Summer for vacancy
- Building Capacity/Enrollment: Over 60+ Kindergartens are projected to enroll. Space issue a concern. Likely need to shift # of classroom per grade. Once enrollment is complete there will be an update. Out of classroom space. Music room would need to be utilized. Board is aware of space issue and supportive.

- Standing Rules Update Approval – Motioned to approve and 2nd with Signatures made during meeting. Copy will be available online. Highlights:
- removed a number of programs/chairpersons (due to inactivity over the last couple of years)
- Programs Names – updates with addition of inclusivity. All Harmony events will be inclusive of the entire school community

- All fundraising by the PTA must be contributions towards school.
- Kindergarten Registration – next Monday/Tuesday. Need help on 4-6 Monday. Tuesday 9-1. Preferred 2 people
- Staff Events – finalized. Budget does not reflect Dr Seuss BD party. Great turnout overall. Recommended change to have a budget/rule i.e $100 allocated towards event supplies. Will allow PTA to pay reimbursement before the event officially closes. All reimbursements should be submitted within 1 week of expense. Recommend a position created to organize all shopping
- March Mania Basketball – Mrs Howard and Mr Tilley. 5th Grade event. All star team plays previous years winners. PTA requesting to take on as Teacher Event with PTA representative. March 25th. 6pm NOHS. Dani, Ari, Kendra & Tara R tentatively volunteering for the event. Flyer going out Wednesday 3/11.
- SBDM Nominations – letting going home next Wednesday 3/18. Parent and Minority positions are still open. Longer deadline for Minority position.
- Supply Kits – good shape. 1st grade and 5th grade approved. Flyer going out after Spring Break.
- Volunteer Raffle – 4 names to be chosen. 2 Disney/1 Day Park passes. Jesse to reach out to winners.

- 2019-2020 Harmony PTA Budget – March 2020 NEW Budget Format (1)
- $22,000+ overage from playground expense (was not approved) that needs to be donated
- Classroom Library – Starting $15,000 (Suzie to determined budget tiers by classroom)
- Chromebook Carts – $5,000
- Supply Kit funding TBD – will be voted on during April meeting when kit costs will be available.

- Beatification – would like Garden to be broken out separate with a $500 budget.

Committee Reports
- Sensory Path, Kendra Wiegand – Set up on Friday. Facebook post to help find volunteers. 8:30-4pm.
- Nominating Committee – Executive Officers all filled with the exception of President. A couple of President candidates. Needing to finalize 3/20.
- Dance, Tara Tobin-Rabatin – Recap – came in within budget. Suggest more chaperones for future.
- Spring Event, Holly Wood – locking in date for late April/Early May. Locking in date and possible Creasey Field House
Open Floor Discussion
Parent organized support in the classroom opportunity. “Husky Helpers” Coordinator meets with each grade level to determine needs. Implement in October. Room Parent coordinator could help with organizing. Libby introduced for 4th grade and volunteered to lead and develop process and to help other grades. Libby to develop prior to Spring and use as a pilot program. “Husky Helpers”. Hopeful to introduce in the Fall 20/21
