Welcome/Introductions

Minutes from March 1, 2018 board meeting were approved. Dani moved to approve the minutes. Motion seconded, and approved.
President, Jessy Maggard
• 2018-2019 Open Positions – Harmony Harvest Chair open
• Donuts with Dad (April 20th) and Muffins with Mom (May 14th) – Cafeteria staff organizing, PTA helping promote
• Teacher Appreciation – Theme is baseball. Planning was discussed
• Oldham County Director of Development, Deborah Nichols, to host Ford Model test drive event at the Oldham County High School parking lot. School with most test drivers will receive a $500 donation
• Oldham Countians for Public Education is hosting a forum to voice concerns about education funding on April 10th
Treasurer’s Report, Holly Wood
• In the past, $500 on budget was allocated to the Oldham County Educational Foundation to go toward Pyramid Awards. Stuart moved to approve for current budget. Motion seconded, and approved.
• 2017-2018 Harmony PTA Budget 4.8 – Reviewed and approved. Dani moved to approve the budget. Motion seconded, and approved.
Committee Reports
• Mother Son Event – Caryn Weferling – Planning discussed
• Earth Day Project – Caryn Weferling – April 19th; Planning discussed. Will need 2 volunteers for each class.
• 5th Grade Events/Celebrations – Julie Fadel, Elizabeth Townsend & Tara Blandford
• Movie Night – Jessy Maggard (May 18th) – Planning discussed
Open Floor Discussion Announcements
• Discussed the idea to reach out to businesses/families to donate money to provide Recess Kit Donations for classes
